Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Pine Green Is Out Soon

With the recent release of several green-themed Jordan sneakers, it seems like green sneakers are having a moment. Nike is joining in on the trend by launching its collaborative "Pine Green" Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid towards the end of April.

Although this shoe surfaced over a year ago, it's now gaining popularity as the bright green colour and chunky build have had ample opportunity for test runs over the past few months. But there's a deeper meaning to the colour choice; it pays homage to the 1-95 Corridor, which played a role in shaping the Air Force 1 design. The shoe is made of leather, with smooth uppers dressed in the leafy green hue, contrasted by bright white Nike Swoosh branding.

The shoe also features the signature touches of Virgil Abloh, the designer behind the Off-White brand. The medial side bears the Helvetica-styled wordmark, and the lacing system includes the iconic zip-tie tag. The sole unit is similar to previous Off-White AF1 Mid releases, with spiked detailing at the forefoot and a warped Air unit.

The shoes will be available on SNKRS on April 28th. Don't forget to set your release reminders early if you want to add them to your collection.
